REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING FREEMASON
To be eligible to apply for Freemasonry, you must be at least 18 years old, believe in a Supreme Being, and have been a resident of your area for a certain period (often six months or more, depending on the jurisdiction).
Most importantly, your decision to become a Freemason must be made freely—of your own free will and accord. This journey begins by meeting with a local lodge, getting to know its members, and expressing your genuine interest in joining.
Remember, the Door to Freemasonry Is Open:
Freemasonry welcomes men of all backgrounds. Your race, religion, age, income, or education level does not matter. Diversity strengthens our fraternity, and every member contributes to the shared values that unite us. If you’re sincere about joining, we’ll help you take the steps to begin building meaningful relationships within the lodge.
